Ira Brown, Lead Pastor

Ira responded to God’s call on his life at age 13. He attended Southern Nazarene University where he received a BA and MA in Pastoral Ministry & Theology. He married his High school sweetheart Paula 39 years ago. Ira and Paula have two daughters and 5 grandchildren.

He came to Prescott Nazarene in April of 2015. This is his fifth church in his 38 years of pastoral ministry.

Ira is an effective communicator and visionary leader known for relating God’s word through stories and word pictures. Check out Pastor Ira’s Teaching.

He is an endurance athlete and over the last 10 years has done 57 races for a total of 1,157 miles swimming, biking, and running.

He is also a gearhead and is restoring both his Grandfather’s 1958 Ford Truck and his Father’s 1978 Ford Truck which is his daily driver.

Pastor Ira sees his calling as working where God is at work in your life helping you respond to God’s invitation to relationship and mission.
